Log home and cabin staining
Spray a sunny wall with water. If it soaks in instead of beading up, the stain is done.
The south and west walls go first, usually years before the shady side. We wash, strip what’s failed, and work stain into every check and log end, where water gets in.

Duluth and the towns around it, including Hermantown, Proctor, Cloquet, Two Harbors and up the North Shore. Cabin owners outside that ring can still ask.
What paint do you use?
Benjamin Moore, inside and out. For log homes we use a stain made for logs, and we’ll tell you which one before we start.
Who will actually be at my house?
Jason’s crew. Jason Houle has owned and run the company since he started it in 1999, and he walks every job with the owner before it’s finished.
